Code of Conduct
UserTesting Technologies, Inc. (“UserTesting”) believes our community should be truly open for everyone. As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all attendees, sponsors, volunteers, speakers, organizers, venue staff, media, exhibitors, vendors, and other guests (collectively, “Participants”) of Crafted.
This commitment applies to all Crafted 2026 events, including:
- May 28, 2026 – Seattle, WA
- September 17, 2026 – London, UK
Crafted is free from discrimination for any reason, including on the basis of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, age, or religion. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for Participant behavior, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.
We invite all Participants to help us create a safe and positive conference experience for everyone.
Expected Behavior
All Participants are expected to:
- Be considerate, respectful, and collaborative
- Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior or speech
- Be mindful of their surroundings and fellow Participants, recognizing that individuals may have different levels of comfort regarding language and personal space
- Alert Crafted staff if they notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress
Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to:
- Intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct
- Offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, age, or religion
- Inappropriate use of nudity or sexual images in public spaces (including presentation materials)
- Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following
- Harassing photography or recording
- Sustained disruption of talks or other events
- Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention
Some Crafted venues may be shared with members of the public; please be respectful to all patrons in these locations.
Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behavior by Participants will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.
If a Participant engages in unacceptable behavior, UserTesting reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to take any action deemed appropriate, including removal from Crafted without warning or refund.
What to Do If You Witness or Are Subject to Unacceptable Behavior
If you are subject to unacceptable behavior, witness someone else being subject to unacceptable behavior, or have concerns that this Code of Conduct is not being followed, please notify a Crafted staff member as soon as possible.
All reports will be treated confidentially. Crafted staff will assess and take appropriate action and will be available to help Participants feel safe for the duration of the event. When appropriate, follow-up may be provided to those who report an incident.
Scope
This Code of Conduct applies to all Crafted venues and all Crafted-related events and activities. Crafted is a place to learn, connect, and engage—please do so responsibly and with respect for others.
